Turning Point

Turning Point is an outpatient substance abuse treatment program that provides comprehensive services to support the recovery of individuals and families struggling with substance abuse and addiction, and other mental health issues.

Our program is state-certified and accredited. Client fees are based on ability to pay — no one is refused services due to inability to pay. Call (405) 634-0508 for more information or to set an appointment.

Street Outreach

Turning Point Street Outreach staff work in the community to reach out-of-treatment substance abusers and injecting drug users and their sex partners. Staff encourages and arranges chemical dependency treatment. They provide on-site free HIV counseling and testing, with referrals for related illnesses including STDs and TB, and also pass out information/prevention packets.

Sober Living

Turning Point operates the Sober Living program, a 48-unit apartment complex offering a drug-free environment for recovering individuals and their families. Case management and support services are provided to assist individuals and their families in re-integrating into the community.

Individuals recovering from substance abuse dependency/addiction are faced with daily challenges. They benefit from the opportunity to stabilize their recovery in a drug-free community.

The Sober Living program provides this environment. The Providence apartments include a 48-unit complex offering a drug-free environment for recovering individuals and their families. Case management and support services are provided to assist individuals in re-integrating into the community. Sober Living has 48 apartment units: 24 two bedroom, 12 three bedroom, and 12 one bedroom.

The Sober Living program includes:

  • case management
  • community meetings
  • money management
  • job readiness training and career skills
  • referrals for parents/children with special needs
  • parenting education
  • random urine analysis testing for residents
  • resources for food, clothing and furniture as needed
  • assistance getting prescriptions filled
