About RX For Oklahoma

RX For Oklahoma is a free program that provides free or low-cost prescriptions for Oklahoma residents regardless of age.

Applicants must be uninsured or under-insured to qualify. The program provides only long-term medications, such as insulin for diabetes, not for short-term needs. Medications are provided by the pharmaceutical companies and availability may change.

Applicants must have a prescription from their medical provider. Staff will assist with the application process, which could take up to one month to complete.

Once your application has been approved, it may take 4-6 weeks to begin receiving your medication. Below is a list of documents needed to apply for the program.

Financial Information Needed From Applicants

  • 3 months of pay stubs
  • Federal tax forms: 1040, 1040-EZ & Health Exempt Page
  • W-2s from current year
  • Social Security award letter
  • Food Stamp award letter
  • Denial letters (SoonerCare, Disability, etc.)
  • Letter from friend/family member for financial support
