Updates on Services Postponed or Canceled Due to Coronavirus

Head Start Locations: Our Head Start locations operated by Community Action Agency of OKC will be closed indefinitely to children beginning March 30, 2020. Head Start staff will provide to-go meals, including lunch and the next day’s breakfast for Head Start enrolled children. Staff also will provide weekly home-packs of activities. These items can be picked up between 11:00 am and noon Monday-Friday at the Head Start location the children attend. Be sure to watch our Facebook page for learning activities for our Head Start children to use until our locations reopen.
All CAA of OKC Community Centers will close from March 30 to April 10.
Homebuyers Workshop: The next available Homebuyers Workshops will start on June 12, 2020.
Tax Prep Services: Out of an abundance of caution to protect our staff and community, our tax prep services are postponed until a later date. Once we reopen, services will be offered 5 days a week in order to make up for the closure. The deadline for filing taxes has been extended to July 15 because of the coronavirus.
Small Business Training classes will resume Aug. 4, 2020.
