Housing Counseling

A Housing Counselor works with applicants to help them understand the responsibilities of homeownership and how to make good housing and financial choices. In a default or foreclosure situation, the Housing Counselor will act as a mediator between the homeowner and the mortgage company to develop a resolution for qualified homeowners.

If you are currently having difficulty paying your mortgage payment or could have future difficulty, please contact the Housing Counselor to discuss your situation and possible solutions. Call 232-0199, ext. 3202, or email hcounselor@caaofokc.org.
